Inside This Poster
Review a transcription factor-based iPSC differentiation platform used to model Alzheimer's disease phenotypes in neurons and astrocytes.
- iPSC-derived excitatory neurons from an Alzheimer's patient line showed elevated Tau and amyloid-beta levels compared to a healthy donor line.
- Astrocytes derived from an Alzheimer's patient iPSC line showed a greater tendency toward a fibroblast-like morphology than healthy donor-derived astrocytes.
- Treatment with BACE1 inhibitor compounds reduced amyloid-beta peptide production in Alzheimer's patient-derived neurons, as expected.
